Witnessing Wonder: The Solar Eclipse

On Monday, April 8, ARTSiE and Fleetwood-Jourdain Mural Project collaborators including muralist Alfonso “Piloto” Nieves, artist Andrew Walker, Shorefront Legacy Center Director Laurice Bell, and ARTSiE staff Robyn Hurtig and Laura Mudd came together for a productive, exciting, and historic meeting at Shorefront Legacy that ended with seeing the historic eclipse. There was a lot of energy and creative momentum around the table for the Fleetwood-Jourdain Center mural project.

It was a very special moment to share amongst a group of people who are passionate about bringing arts and literacy to children and families surrounding the Fleetwood-Jourdain Center.
