🎨🐉 Crear Alebrijes de Barro: 13 de enero de 2026 – 3 de marzo de 2026

¿Qué son los alebrijes? Tu hijo o hija explorará el arte vibranté popular mexicano creando criaturas fantásticas con barro y otros materiales reciclados. Los niños combinarán rasgos de animales con su imaginación, inspirándose del artista Pedro Linares. Darán forma a sus criaturas con papel maché y luego las pintarán con patrones intrincados, aprendiendo sobre historias culturales, simbolismo y técnicas de color brillantes. Al final de la sesión, habrá un recorrido tipo galería para ver todos los alebrijes.

Class description:

What are alebrijes? Your child will explore this vibrant Mexican folk art by creating fantastical, colorful creatures from clay or recycled materials. The children will blend animal features with imagination, inspired by artist Pedro Linares.  Children will shape their creatures from paper mache and then paint them with intricate patterns, learning cultural stories, symbolism, and bright color techniques. There will be a gallery walk to see all the Alebrijes at the end of the session. Join us!
