Children’s Poetry Author Visit
ARTSiE’s LTA Summer 2022 Afternoon Enrichment Program enjoyed an incredible two days with Michelle Schaub, the author of one of our core texts, Fresh Picked Poetry.
Michelle Schaub is an award-winning children’s author and veteran teacher. Her book Fresh-Picked Poetry: A Day at the Farmers’ Market won the 2018 Growing Good Kids Award and 2019 Northern Lights Book Award. You can learn more about her here. She engaged our ARTSiE children through her presentation and poetry workshop, which engaged imagination and wonder. Her activities included co-creating poems with the children.
