On Saturday, July 15, ARTSiE friends and supporters gathered for the debut rooftop fundraiser. The night included Cuban dancing and food, connecting and conversing. The warm summer evening featured Cuban Salsa Casino dancer and instructor, Edson Cabrera teaching his moves to Latin rhythms and rooftop guests. Ms. Laura, Ms. Robyn, and Ms. Mary Lou, joined in the dancing and informed the crowd how integrating the arts and education engages and empowers children and families while strengthening communities. We all saw the evidence of that this evening too!

What an energizing night which culminated in telling more people about how ARTSiE impacts children through literacy and the arts programming. We look forward to another event like this again. Here’s what some of the guests had to say:
