Hi, I’m Fiona!
Fiona Lazar grew up surrounded by the arts. From the age of four, she spent her time dancing, acting, playing musical instruments, drawing, painting, and cooking. These childhood experiences grew into genuine passions, leading Fiona to study dance and art history at Bard College at Simon's Rock. After traveling, dancing, and teaching in Italy for a few years following graduation, she returned home to Chicago to pursue her Master of Science in Hospitality Management and Operational Performance.
Currently in Charleston, South Carolina with her husband and their twenty plants, Fiona is thrilled to be back with ARTSiE again, helping realize our shared vision of transforming lives through arts and education. To Fiona, her work with ARTSiE is an impactful way of bringing art into children’s lives who wouldn’t otherwise have the same wonderful opportunities she enjoyed as a child, and she’s immensely grateful she gets to participate in such a worthwhile endeavor.
When she’s not writing grants, updating the website, or strategizing organizational improvements with ARTSiE colleagues, Fiona works as a holistic nutritionist and personal chef artfully crafting healthy and delicious food to share with others.
